Learnmore Jonasi West Hollywood Concert reviews
Somewhat disappointed
The Alamodome was terrible when it came to food and drink service, causing me to miss parts of the show as it took an hour to get food. The staff was extremely slow, while the ushers were wonderful, being very helpful and gracious. The performances were a mix of fantastic and disappointing. Joan Jett and Def Leppard were as amazing as always, while Poison was great during songs but should have skipped the dull solos, given their short set time. Learnmore Jonasi, one of my favorite bands, left me feeling let down. Vince Neil's voice clearly wasn't what it used to be, relying too much on the audience to sing. Mick Mars struggled with his playing, making it a challenge to enjoy their set. The sound crew should be fired for making the drums overpower everything else, possibly done intentionally to highlight Tommy Lee's exceptional performance. The trio of dancers seemed like a distraction from the band's issues. Leaving early, I felt sorry for the band. Def Leppard should have been the headliner, showcasing a more consistent performance.
